Description
The Master Distiller has selected a limited number of Pedro Ximinez casks to finish maturing the Glenglassaugh single malt. During the second period of maturation he says 'the whisky interacts with the wood, adding an intriguing range of flavours and aromas specific to the Pedro Ximinez cask.'

Distillery: Loaded with creamy vanilla and hints of white pepper over caramelised orchard fruits.
The WSD: Starts with fruit compote and then black treacle develops. (M) |

Distillery: A dusting of vanilla-infused Demerara sugar over pear tart tatin.
The WSD: The taste is rich and lush. Concentrated raisin juice, PX sherry and then more black treacle (M) |

Distillery: Finished with a cedar wood spice and rich, sweet barley. |
